Didot Font is a group of serif typefaces named after the prominent French printing family active during the 18th and 19th centuries, particularly associated with Firmin Didot (1764–1836) and his brother Pierre Didot (1760–1853). The Didot typefaces were primarily developed between 1784 and 1811, characterized by high contrast between thick and thin strokes, which aligns with the Didone classification of typefaces. This style draws inspiration from John Baskerville’s work, emphasizing a neoclassical aesthetic reflective of the Age of Enlightenment.
