Acre font family
Acre is a geometric sans-serif font family designed by Jonathan Ball. It includes eight weights, ranging from Thin to Black, making it highly versatile for various applications, including display and text usage. The font supports full European language capabilities and features OpenType options such as tabular and oldstyle figures.
The design of Acre is inspired by Ball’s great grandfather, Tex Acre, who was an artist and sign maker. This font pays homage to his legacy and the geometric typefaces popular in the early 20th century. While the complete family is available for purchase, a free version is offered for personal use, which typically includes only one weight.
Overall, Acre is suitable for a wide range of design projects due to its clean lines and modern aesthetic.
