Authentic Sans is a sans-serif font family designed to explore the aesthetic and semiotic nuances of anonymous Latin glyphs found in CJK system fonts. It aims to challenge traditional Eurocentric typographic standards by embracing a more unconventional approach. Released in 2015, Authentic Sans is available in four weights and both normal and condensed styles. It was first showcased at the 2015 NY Art Book Fair and is distributed under open licenses, making it accessible for various creative projects. The font offers a unique visual identity, suitable for contexts where a balance between simplicity and distinctiveness is desired.
