Heldane Font Family
Heldane Font Family is a contemporary serif typeface designed by Kris Sowersby of Klim Type Foundry. Drawing inspiration from Renaissance masters like Hendrik van den Keere, Claude Garamont, and Robert Granjon, Heldane distinctively amalgamates the best details from these historical sources rather than strictly emulating one. Developed over a decade, this family includes two carefully crafted optical sizes: Heldane Display, with fine details and tight spacing ideal for large headlines, and Heldane Text, optimized with looser spacing and longer serifs for excellent readability at smaller sizes. Heldane blends classical foundations with rigorous digital drawing, offering clarity and vitality across several weights with matching italics.
