Syne Font Family is a distinctive and versatile typeface designed in 2017 for the French art center Synesthésie. This 5-style family includes Regular, Bold, Extra, Italic, and Mono variants, each with unique characteristics.
Syne Regular is a geometric sans-serif with condensed vertical proportions, offering a pleasant reading experience for longer texts. As the weight increases, the typeface gains width, creating an atypical association that forces bold graphic design choices. The family also features an Italic style inspired by Renaissance types and trackpad-calligraphy, and a Mono version with distorted contours.
